International Business English Ltd., (IBE) founded in 1999, offers professional services to leading international companies, providing customer-tailored training in business, scientific, technical, commercial and legal English, on a consulting/coaching basis.

IBE has developed a unique approach in supporting organizations in their endeavour to be successful in doing business in English, in a globalizing business world.

IBE uses a consulting/coaching approach to meet participants’ needs in English, where the trainer works with small groups (max.6) focusing on the particular requirements of each participant.

IBE trainers integrate participants’ material and industry specific material, into courses they create. This enables participants to acquire the specific terminology they require and to develop their ability, skills and confidence in using appropriate English in their daily work. To cover the necessary grammar and language functions, including skills work, e.g. presentations, teleconferencing, writing correspondence, etc. trainers create course material that incorporates input from participants’ special fields, and often supplement this with an appropriate book.

IBE only employs trainers who are native speakers, with an academic background and years of Management Training experience. IBE seeks to have a variety of countries represented on its team. At present IBE’s trainers come from England, Ireland, Scotland, USA and Australia.

IBE places particular emphasis on intercultural competence which is of paramount importance to success in our competitive global world. All trainers have had special intercultural training and incorporate this into every assignment.
